Congratulations to the 2024 Wright Service Corp. Employee Owner of the Year, Wright Tree Service Safety Manager Wes Tregilgas!

Each year, the award is presented to one employee within the Wright Service Corp. family of companies. The Employee Owner of the Year is an outstanding citizen, exhibits the characteristics of an employee owner, displays company values, and makes contributions in the best interest of the company. 

The Employee Ownership Committee reviewed all nominations and selected five nominees to move forward through the judging process. A judging panel consisting of management across companies ultimately selected Wes to be named this year’s Employee Owner of the Year.

Wright Tree Service President, Wade Myers surprised Wes with the news and presented him with a framed certificate. “Wes’ tireless efforts to make Wright Tree Service a safer and better place to work are recognized by all that get to work with him,” Wade said.

Wes has been leading the Safety, Education and Training (SET) team since he joined Wright Tree Service in 2017. Some of his numerous accomplishments throughout 2024 include implementing a Spanish language General Foreperson School and overseeing development of the new training facility in central Iowa.

Wes will receive a special invitation to the Annual Awards Banquet, a $500 check, an engraved award, and recognition on the WSC website. Congratulations again, Wes! This award is well-deserved.
