A letter from the CEO: Scott D. Packard

Please join me in congratulating Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Terry McGonegle on his 25 years of service as he steps down from his position on December 31, 2019. Terry will continue to serve on our board and assist on special projects through December 2020.

Terry started his career in public accounting and worked in the agricultural and construction industries before joining Wright Tree Service. He has served on the audit committee for the Tree Care Industry Association, finance committees for both the Utility Arborist Association and TREE Fund. Terry is also a past president of The Iowa-Nebraska Chapter of The ESOP Association.

I’ve had the pleasure of working next to Terry for the last twenty years and he has been a loyal and trusted advisor throughout. His embodiment of our values has helped drive our success and will influence us for years to come.

I had the chance to speak to Terry and he would like to add, “The highlight of my career has been the ESOP in its design, implementation and serving as chief administrator for the last 17 years. We’ve experienced a large amount of growth over the years and have been able to provide many opportunities to our employees. Prior to my retirement, I would like to ensure that a team is in place to continue the company’s success for years to come.”

Terry is looking forward to his retirement where he’ll continue chasing his grandchildren and traveling the world.
