Because Wright Service Corp. is an employee-owned company through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), we’re going to celebrate and use this as an opportunity to further educate our employees about being an employee-owned company!

This will be our tenth annual Employee Ownership Month, and there’s even more to look forward to this year. This year’s theme is ESOPTober Fest! Whether you’re a current participant in the ESOP or not, everyone is encouraged to participate. We hope it’s a month of fun and learning that allows you to gain a deeper appreciation for what it means to be an employee-owner!

You will receive calendar appointments with details for various events.

Events at a Glance

We have a number of activities and contests you can participate in. Each contest will have a specified deadline. Voting and judging will take place following the deadline. Winners will be announced in November. Don’t forget, there are a number of prizes at stake!

Breakfast will be served to employees by the Ownership Committee at 8 a.m. in the café.

Employee Ownership Interviews | October 4, 11, 18 and 25

Hear from our employee owners, both active/retired, as they share the benefits and impact of being an employee owner. 

Trivia | October 7, 14, 21 and 28

The Employee Ownership Committee would like to invite you to play some trivia!

Each week there will be a new question, and each week there will also be a small gift card up for grabs! The winner will be randomly selected each week from all the submissions.

Pretzels & Chocolate | October 8*

Join us for some snacks. Ask committee members any questions from 2 to 3 p.m. in the café.

Employee Owner of the Year Announcement | October 31

Your Employee Owner of the Year for 2024 will be announced. Visit the Employee Owner of the Year page for details.

Stein Contest | October 31*

Join us for a friendly competition from 1-3 p.m. in the John L. Wright Conference Room. Stop by at any time. The person who holds the stein the longest will be the winner.

Photo Booth

Celebrate ownership month by submitting your photos. If you’re in the corporate office, stop down and take a photo at our ESOPTober photo booth outside the café. There are many fun props to choose from! If you’re in the field or working remote, submit your photo in the form below or email it to [email protected]. Photos will be shared throughout the entire month.

ESOPATHON

Wright Service Corp. is partnering with the ESOP Association to help raise some money for the Employee Ownership Foundation via the ESOPATHON. The ESOPATHON is a month-long, activity-based, nationwide fundraising drive with the goal of raising one million dollars to support new and forward-leaning programming at the Employee Ownership Foundation.
